CJW Breaks Ground for State-of-the-Art Cancer Hospital CJW Medical Center broke ground on Thursday, October 18 for the new Thomas Johns Cancer Hospital on its Johnston-Willis campus. The new 50,000 square foot expansion project promises to be the most sophisticated, fully integrated hospital under one roof in the Metro Richmond area, according to Peter Marmerstein, CEO of CJW Medical Center.
The new Thomas Johns Cancer Hospital represents a $30 million investment by the HCA Richmond Health System. The hospital is slated for completion in 2009. Learn more about the ground-breaking and additional features of the new facility.
